I am wondering if use of the word "greasing" may bring some interesting new traffic your way?

I think you are doing an excellent job of table laying, lovely marriage of cloth and cake shape.

An excellent job. I can never get them out of the fancy cake tins without losing part of the design (usually a head is parted from its body unfortunately.) You must be a dab hand at greasing!

Lots of healthy competition in your house then! x

those boys do love their kit - looks delicious

Jane - I know how you feel! I have three who are competing in the kitchen. Guess who does the washing up??

A family of bakers! Marvellous! A bit of competition can bring out some interesting results I always think! Vanessa x

The sunflower pan is gorgeous! Can you make a yellow cake for the outside and chocolate on the inside (seeds) part?
Good for you having all these willing bakers - maybe a family business is coming...?

She sure does sense competition - and she's going to keep you in your place! But she will appreciate Mom some day.

I too have a collection of fancy tins. I even sent to Germany for one of them as it was the only place I could get one!
Haven't got a sunflower one...

About that "just right" tablecloth, and the many other beautiful ones that find their way onto your blog -- where do you find them? Do you make those as well? Collect them? I'm just drooling over the patterns and half the time wanting to push the cakes out of the way to so I can replicate the lovely stitches!!
