So wish I could come along to Loop but busy helping hubbie at a vintage motorbike rally that day! Oh well. Next time.

I feel an outing coming on - I will try to get myself let out that day!

Excellent! See you at Mrs Moon's.

Will you ever be in 'the North'?

Oh! I have a ocncert on 21st - but will be at Mrs Moon's; it's nearby and I haven't yet visited, despite noting it from your blog previously. See you there!

I'm a regular knitter at the Mrs. Moon's Thursday group, thanks to your noting the shop when they opened over a year ago. Thank you for that. I'd just moved to London from the US at the time and have made so many friends there. I look forward to the signing there and meeting you!

jane, any plans to come states-side
in the nyc area? i live in connecticut. am a loyal follower.

Wish I could be there! But I have the book on pre-order with Amazon and can't wait!!

Me too! Waiting every day for the amazon order to come in....wish I could come to events but cannot, alas. Love that hat....am now torn between that and the coathangers! And the scarf. Oh dear.

Excuse me, Jane, for hijacking the comments, but I'd like to ask Monica for details re the Thursday knitting group at Mrs Moon's - my husband is away with work for 3 months and it's a good chance to do some serious knitting..... with the help of The Gentle Art of Knitting, of course!!

Are you considering or planning on publishing the projects (not the patterns of course) on Ravelry? I'm assuming there will be an American version of your book like the Gentle Art of Domesticity and in the interim I would love to see the projects and how other knitters interpret them.
