A change of scenery. Wonderful pearl-grey light, drifts of snowdrops under trees, local daffodils, fresh bread from a real bakery, peace and quiet. Very promising.

Hi! I just discovered your blog and it's GREAT! The hot-cross buns have my mouth watering - I suppose now I'll have to go bake some! Nan
Oh, it seems we are so far from experiencing spring in this frozen part of the States! We have been driving on ice packed roads for weeks. I am looking forward to the first robin showing up in my yard and for sunshine!
Ah, peace and quiet! Not much of that in a houseful of teens and pre-teens as I remember.
It's good that you can and do carve little oases of peace for yourself when the need arises.
Enjoy!
and an Anta mug for the daffs? I love Anta and we are lucky enough to have a house just half an hour or so away from their factory outlet in Fearn, in fact I was there only this afternoon! Your daffodils are out so much earlier than ours. We have the snowdrops but the daffodils are just shards of green no hint of flower just yet.
All my favourite things :) My daughter was concerned she didn't have enough time to get money to buy me something for mother's day. I just said, before I saw your post, just a bunch of daffs from M&S and I'll be happy!! LOL
Well you have done that again another great picture, so peaceful, would love a slice of that yoummy bread, smeared with strawberry jam and a mug of tea-Heaven!!!

Recognise Doveflight from St Jude's. I love their prints. You are obviously in a creatively rich environment - the omens are good.

Hello. I discovered you a while back via Snapdragons. Your photographs are beautiful...and the bread looks scrumptious. Mmm.
