It's not pretty, is it? I don't mean my red cabbage which I think is beautiful despite the ravages of pests, but the feeling of envy. I've been experiencing quite a bit of envy and going green round the eyes...

Lovely to look at....but how do they taste? I find pears such a tease - that freckled skin taunting as to deliciousness or just woolly mulch. And placed in a faintly festive bowl, Jane....talking of Christmas, must get on....!!!!!

i love the shape of pears, once i held one for so long because it just felt so nice to hold! that sounds so strange but, it was satisfactory at the time. xxx
