The trees have been blown almost bare overnight but I saw this one on a walk this morning which looked as though its few remaining leaves were a crown or chandelier of lights casting a glow on the ground beneath.
Other-worldly looking, isn't it?

Pretty! I'm really starting to love November. Took me long enough.
I think it came from loving other people's Novembers. Now if I could just wrap my head (or heart) around January, February and early March.

Hello Jane,
I like to stop by now and then for a burst of color. You do not disappoint! Wow!

What a beautiful photograph. It looks completely magical. I'm guessing it's another of your fab hipstamatic shots. I want that ap. Now! I might need to get myself a better phone first though...

Absolutely amazing color.

The colours are reminiscent of medieval/renaissance dutch tapestries - like the ones at Cloisters.
No unicorn, though...

Gorgeous. Autumn is my absolute favourite time of year and I can never get enough of these beautiful colours. I am dreading the winds and cold that will come shortly and blow these beautiful leaves away...the bare branches of winter make me terribly depressed. I wish Autumn wasn't such a fleeting season!
I love this Hipstamatic app - if only I had an iphone!

In springtime, when I walk through Central Park, I am always enchanted when I see a carpet of pink below a blooming cherry tree, after a bit of a breeze. Color on the tree and below it.
Your gorgeous photo offers an autumn chorus to this tune.
Cheers!

Thinks that the leaves almost look like pieces of construction paper.
